Type specimens can be so boring. I don't want to be boring. This type specimen got really weird really fast, but that's fine. Everything is fine. I honestly don't even know how to explain this one. It's cooper black but kinky I guess? The idea started with a general 70's vibe that morphed into Easy Rider and then BAM! kinky cooper black. It could happen to anyone. I'm just glad it happened to me because I am very proud of this book. Enjoy it, but not too much.

My Name is Jordan Carr. I am a graphic designer and illustrator. I specialize in branding, illustration, packaging, and print, but anything interesting to design is in my wheelhouse. I started designing logos at 15 for local construction companies and called it t-shirt design, not knowing this was actually called branding. I spent most of my late teens and twenties working as a contractor, renovating houses, then designing and building furniture for boutique stores. Throughout each new venture came a new excuse to design a brand, build a website, and create. I had a kid, got married, got a couple of dogs, had another kid, and decided to follow my passion. I started focusing on graphic design again, and sometimes even made money doing it. I eventually went back to school and graduated from Cal State University Long Beach with my BFA in Graphic Design in 2022.
